Certifications and standards
How to read this page
There is an important distinction between a standard and a certification. EN 1176 and ASTM F1487 are standards published by CEN and ASTM International; a manufacturer does not hold a certificate in them. What a manufacturer holds is a type-test report, issued by an accredited test house such as TÜV or SGS, for a specific product against a specific standard and its parts. When a supplier says “EN 1176 certified”, ask which parts, which product, and which test house.
Certification details are being verified
We are publishing certification details only once the certificate numbers, issuing bodies and validity dates have been confirmed, rather than listing claims we cannot document. If your project requires evidence of certification to a specific standard, tell us which standard and which market, and we will confirm what we can provide for the product in question.
Ask about certificationStandards our equipment is built to
The applicable standard depends on the product type and the market of installation. These guides explain what each one requires.
Need certification documentation for a tender?
Tell us the standard, the product and the market. We will confirm what test documentation exists and what would need to be commissioned.
